Stuart Wilde

Books published by Hay House

The term “free thinker” was coined to describe those brave men who rebelled against the Catholic Church in the 18th and 19th centuries, but they may not have been free thinkers in other respects.  Stuart Wilde really is a free thinker and utterly fearless in his pursuit of truth.  Since he started writing and teaching in the 1980s he has shared his spiritual journey with his readers and not attempted to hide his weaknesses as so many teachers do.  Add to that refreshing honesty an amazing sense of humour and you have a man like no other - a one-off, a unique voice on the modern scene.

Stuart Wilde’s books rescued me, as they have rescued many people, when I was a lost soul in the late 1980s.  I had been chewed up and spat out by a spiritual organisation, and when I came across The Quickening it galvanised me into new life.  It was the perfect antidote to the nonsense in which I was floundering at the time.

If you are a newcomer to Stuart Wilde I wouldn’t start with that book though - my suggestions would be Infinite Self:  33 Steps to Reclaiming your Inner Power  and Sixth Sense.  Infinite Self  sets out the stages of the spiritual journey in a highly readable manner.  Sixth Sense is the best book I have ever come across about how to develop one’s spiritual faculties.  It is subtitled “including the secrets of the etheric subtle body”.   This is something he really understands.  Sixth Sense is a book I always have around to refer to and re-read.  It is full of interesting things and the many exercises are thoroughly practical.

Of all my books Stuart Wilde’s are the ones I read the most.
